DESCRIPTION

Ardbeg Corryvreckan smoky whisky, named after the famous whirlpool in the North of Islay, where only the brave dare to venture. A smoky, high-alcohol single malt for connoisseurs only. Ardbeg Corryvreckan won The World’s Best Single Malt in 2010 for No Age Statement by Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible (the most famous whisky magazine today).

Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Herbs, peat, seaweed.

- Taste: A sweet and sour fruity flavour like pineapple and peat, less of the tar and very strong woody aroma of the traditional Ardbeg. The flavour is extremely complex and changes many times after that, but still maintains the sweet and sour balance on the peat smoke, although it gradually fades.

- Finish: Long and rich in smoke. After finishing, the smoke lingers in the mouth, on the lips with the main ingredients being tobacco leaves, toasting spices, cloves and cinnamon with a bit of bitter orange peel.
