DESCRIPTION

Ki No Bi (Beauty of the Seasons) is the first Japanese gin produced in Kyoto, a city renowned for its long tradition and refined distillation. Inspired by Japanese culture and nature, this gin is distilled, blended and bottled in Kyoto, offering a unique experience with a distinctly Japanese taste.

Ki No Bi Kyoto Dry Gin is crafted from Japanese botanicals such as yellow yuzu from northern Kyoto Prefecture, akamatsu (Japanese red pine) wood chips, bamboo, gyokuro tea from the Uji region and green sanshō (Japanese pepper). Bottled at 45.7% ABV, Ki No Bi uses rice wine and pure underground water from the famous Fushimi sake brewing area.

Ki No Bi’s production process is unique and refined. The botanicals in the gin are separated into six components: Base, Citrus, Tea, Herbs, Spices and Fruit & Flowers, and distilled individually. They are then blended to perfection to create the signature Ki No Bi flavour.

The aroma of this gin is fresh with yuzu and a touch of sanshō that wafts like morning dew in a bamboo forest. The palate includes juniper that complements and accentuates the Japanese botanicals, ginger root that brings a warm and slightly spicy flavour, and a touch of gyokuro tea.
