Bushmills 21 Year Old is one of the most premium products of the Bushmills distillery, famous for its unique and sophisticated aging process. This single malt whisky is matured for 21 years, including the first 19 years in Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks, then the final 2 years in Madeira wine casks. This creates a whisky with a deep and complex flavor, clearly reflecting the heritage and tradition of this distillery.
Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Aromas of dried fruits, especially plums and raisins, along with honey and oak. Aromas of dark chocolate, vanilla and a touch of spice.
- Taste: A blend of caramel, honey, and dried fruits such as apricots and raisins. Flavors of almonds, dark chocolate and oak, along with a slight spiciness.
- Aftertaste: Long, warm and persistent finish, with a blend of vanilla, oak, and a hint of dried fruit.
