DESCRIPTION
Talisker Port Ruighe (pronounced Portree) is a special edition from the Talisker distillery, named after the main port town on the Isle of Skye. The whisky is finished in port wine casks, giving it a rich and deep flavour, combined with the strong smoky and maritime character of Talisker.
Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Distinctive peat smoke, mixed with ripe red fruits, dark chocolate, and a touch of black pepper.
- Taste: Rich sea smoke and black pepper, mixed with the sweetness of honey, chocolate and berries.
- Aftertaste: Long, warm with a smoky, salty flavour and a slight sweetness from the port.
