DESCRIPTION
Tahbilk Shiraz comes from one of Australia’s oldest vineyards, in the Nagambie Lakes region of Victoria. Tahbilk Shiraz is part of the Tahbilk Winery, founded in 1860 by Jean-Marie De Rivaz, who brought a distinguished winemaking tradition to Central Victoria. This Shiraz is renowned for its balance of fruit and wood, reflecting the character of the land in which it is produced.
The wine is ruby red in colour, with aromas of raspberries, plums, combined with hints of spice, black pepper and oak. On the palate, the wine has smooth tannins, rich ripe fruit flavours with subtle hints of vanilla and oak, creating a long and soft finish.
