Launched as part of the Max's range in 2007, Penfolds Max's Cabernet Sauvignon is made from premium quality Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from vineyards in South Australia. Penfolds Max's Cabernet Sauvignon is a modern tribute to Max Schubert, Penfolds' Master Winemaker and the man behind the success of Penfolds Grange, and is aged in oak casks to create richness and depth of flavour.
The wine has a deep ruby red colour, with aromas of blackcurrants, ripe plums, oak, vanilla and spice. The palate is full-bodied, with firm yet smooth tannins, ripe fruit flavours and oak, resulting in a long and rich finish.
