DESCRIPTION
Introduced in 1976, Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet is one of Penfolds’ oldest wines. The combination of these two grape varieties creates a wine with strong structure and rich flavours. The wine is aged in oak barrels to develop its characteristics.
The wine has a deep ruby red colour, with aromas of raspberries, currants and a touch of spice. The ripe fruit on the palate, combined with oak and vanilla, soft and balanced tannins, creating a long and pleasant finish.
