DESCRIPTION
Old Pulteney 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Old Pulteney distillery, located on the northern coast of Scotland. This whisky is matured in oak casks that previously held bourbon, giving it a distinctive salty flavour and maritime influence, often referred to as "Maritime Malt".
Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Aromas of green apple, citrus, and a hint of salty sea air, combined with vanilla and light oak.
- Taste: Sweet honey, almonds, and fresh fruit, with a touch of oak and light spice.
- Aftertaste: Medium-long, smooth, with flavours of sea salt and oak.
