Matsui Gin ‘The Hakuto Premium’ is a special gin produced by Kurayoshi Distillery in Tottori Prefecture, Japan. The name “Hakuto” ​​means “white rabbit,” referring to a famous myth from Tottori Prefecture. This gin is finished with spring water from Mount Daisen and delicately combines 14 carefully selected botanicals, creating a complex spicy yet sweet and refreshing flavor.

The botanicals include Juniper berry, coriander seed, orange peel, yuzu peel, Japanese sansho pepper, gyokuro (a premium green tea), cherry blossom (sakura), black pepper, nashi pear (a specialty of Tottori Prefecture), and five other premium botanicals. The spirit has an alcohol content of 47% abv, offering a fresh but spicy aroma, with complex notes of Japanese botanicals. Fruity flavours with fresh pear and green apple, combined with aromatics and green tea, give this gin depth and richness.
