DESCRIPTION
Martell XO is one of Martell's premium cognacs, first launched over 200 years ago, in 1819. It is made from eau-de-vie that have been matured for many years, aged in oak barrels to develop their characteristic flavors and smoothness. Although regulations only require eaux-de-vie to be 10 years or more, Martell X.O uses wines that are aged between 15 and 35 years. It is a blend of 150 different eaux-de-vie, the main one being Grand Champagne.
Martell XO has a complex aroma of dried fruits, spices, and vanilla, with notes of dark chocolate and oak. The taste is soft and rich, with a harmonious combination of caramel, hazelnut, and a touch of light spice. The finish is long and warm, bringing a sophisticated and luxurious drinking experience.
