DESCRIPTION
Macallan Oscuro is part of the 1824 Collection and is aged in carefully selected Sherry seasoned oak casks. “Oscuro” means “dark” in Spanish, reflecting the rich colour and complex flavours of this whisky. The combination of the aged casks results in a full-bodied and rich whisky.
Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Dried fruit aromas such as raisins and plums, intertwined with dark chocolate, oak and a touch of spice.
- Taste: Smooth with dark chocolate, dried fruit, rich oak and a touch of liquorice.
- Aftertaste: Long, rich with chocolate and oak.
