DESCRIPTION
The Macallan Edition No.2, launched in 2016, is a collaboration between the Macallan Master Whisky Maker and the Roca brothers, owners of the renowned El Celler de Can Roca restaurant in Spain. Edition No.2 is crafted from seven different oak casks, each contributing its own distinctive flavour profile to the whisky, reflecting the perfect balance between Macallan’s whisky-making tradition and the creativity of the Roca brothers.
Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Aromas of dried fruit, chocolate, cinnamon, and a touch of ginger.
- Taste: Sweet honey, dark chocolate, liquorice, and a spicy touch of ginger and cinnamon.
