After three years of seeing the world fall in love with Mezcal, Los Siete Misterios saw an opportunity to reach more people and diversify the way Mezcal is enjoyed through cocktails, which is how Los Siete Misterios Doba-Yej was born. Doba-Yej, which means Maguey Espadín in the ancient Zapotec language, is a subtle expression of Mexican tradition and history. Each Doba-Yej brand features a Mexican war hero, such as Doña Josefa Ortiz, Father Miguel Hidalgo and José María Morelos.

This Siete Misterios Doba-Yej mezcal is distilled using horse-drawn tahona, as opposed to the artisanal distillation of other Siete Misterios mezcals. In the Siete Misterios style, each batch is produced by a different mezcalero and is sourced from Santiago Matatlan or San Luis del Rio.
