DESCRIPTION
Lagavulin 1991 - 28 Year Old, Prima & Ultima is part of the Prima & Ultima collection, which includes the first and last bottles from each cask, released in extremely limited quantities. This whisky was distilled in 1991 and has been matured for 28 years, giving it a unique, refined and complex Islay flavour.
Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Deep peat smoke, charred oak, with dried fruit, vanilla and a touch of honey. A touch of marine and sea salt.
- Taste: Rich and complex with strong smoke, oak, dried fruit, honey and spice. A touch of marine and liquorice.
- Aftertaste: Long and rich with smoke, black pepper, and the warmth of oak and a touch of salt.
