DESCRIPTION

Kilikanoon, founded in 1997 by Kevin Mitchell, is one of Australia’s most renowned wine producers, particularly in the Clare Valley, renowned for its ideal climate for growing Shiraz grapes. The Attunga 1865 appellation not only honours the founding of Attunga Castle, but also the year 1865, marking an important period in the development of the Clare Valley wine industry.

Attunga 1865 Shiraz opens with aromas of ripe black fruits such as plums and strawberries, combined with spicy notes such as black pepper and cinnamon. The oak ageing brings out notes of vanilla, chocolate and a touch of smoke. The wine is full-bodied, soft with smooth tannins and a long finish, providing a rich and refined drinking experience.
