The name "Seven Wood" comes from the fact that this whisky is finished in seven different types of oak casks, including French oak from forests such as Limousin, Tronçais, Allier, Vosges, Jupilles, Berranges, and American white oak. This complex finishing process creates a rich and complex flavor, with a delicate balance of sweet and slightly smoky flavors.
