DESCRIPTION
Glenfarclas is a famous single malt whisky brand from Scotland, founded in 1836 and still owned by the family. The name "Glenfarclas" translates to "grassy plains," representing the lush green landscape that inspired their whisky.
Glenfarclas 10 Year Old is one of the brand's highlights, and despite its short age, it is very important in building the brand. Matured in Sherry casks for 10 years, the whisky has the typical Sherry flavor but is richer and more complex.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Sweet sherry aromas combine with malt and barley. Creamy toffee gives way to honey, vanilla and fruit.
- Palate: Sweet and dried fruit, with complex, delicate winter fruitcake and spices. Light toffee and a touch of smoke.
