Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin was created in 2019, a great vintage for the cool weather of Victoria, Australia, which is perfect for Shiraz grapes. The vintage was marked by spring rains and a hot summer, which allowed the black grapes to develop better than 2018. This resulted in excellent aromas of plum and blackberry, along with notes of pine, white pepper, and spices.
Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin has an exceptional alcohol content of 37.8%, higher than the usual Sloe Gin which is under 30%. This is an unfiltered gin, which develops a complex and fruity flavour after two years of aging. With a perfect balance of sweetness and tannins, this gin is perfect for making great cocktails and is best consumed within two years of its vintage.
