DESCRIPTION
El Recuerdo de Oaxaca Joven is made from agave Espadín, a carefully selected agave. This mezcal is not made in the traditional palenque, but in the largest and most modern distillery in Oaxaca. The distillery aims to “create the cleanest mezcal ever produced,” using modern technology, machinery and production methods similar to those used in the production of tequila.
On the nose, El Recuerdo de Oaxaca Joven offers fresh herbal aromas, with a hint of smoke from the cooked agave. On the palate, this mezcal has a balanced sweet and sour taste, fresh citrus, herbal notes and a subtle effervescence from the smoke.
