Clase Azul Tequila has launched the limited edition 25 Aniversario to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The decanter is painted entirely in cobalt blue, inspired by dandelion seeds blown by the wind, with feather motifs representing Clase Azul México’s expansion around the world. The 25 hand-painted platinum-painted lines on the surface of the decanter represent each year in the brand’s history.

Part of the agave used in the blend is ground using a traditional stone mill called a tahona, a method that dates back to the early days of tequila. The fermentation process is extended to highlight the citrus and fruity notes of the spirit. The spirit is then aged for eight months in two different first-fill American whiskey barrels, each of which imparts a distinct and rich flavor.

The tequila is a rich golden amber in color, with a medium body and aromas of agave syrup, banana, wood notes, toasted coconut, soft vanilla, caramel, semi-bitter chocolate, apple and malted cereal. The palate offers notes of caramel, vanilla, almonds, agave syrup and banana, finishing with toasted oak, cocoa and a touch of earthy minerals.
