DESCRIPTION
Chimay White - Chimay Triple was created in 1966 and has become an integral part of the Chimay beer range. To celebrate the 500th anniversary of the founding of the Principality of Chimay, the beer was launched in 75cl bottles in 1986 and was known as “Cinq cents” (meaning 500) in 75cl bottles.
Chimay Triple has an attractive golden colour, highlighted by an impressive white foam. The aroma immediately reveals the deep complexity of this beer, with rich fruit flavours that combine harmoniously with elegant floral and spice notes. Subtle smokiness and a touch of vanilla create a pleasant contrast with the sweet malts.
The taste of Chimay Triple is equally wonderful, with a soft mouthfeel that is perfectly balanced by a moderate amount of hop bitterness. The notes of orange peel and red apple add a subtle aftertaste, completing the drinking experience.
