DESCRIPTION
Octomore 13.2 offers a different maturity to the structural brilliance of the 13.1. This whisky, aged for five years, has spent its entire maturation in Oloroso casks from Fernando de Castilla, Spain. This 13.2 is also distilled from 100% Scottish barley and malted to the same 137.3ppm.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Salty smoke, milk chocolate, leather tobacco, orange and grapefruit, cloves, cinnamon, walnuts, praline, brown sugar
- Taste: Smoked nuts, leather, orange marmalade on toast, dried apricots, a touch of pepper.
- Finish: Earthy peat smoke, fruity and nutty aromas from the oloroso cask, salty sea breeze.
