DESCRIPTION

Octomore 11.3 is a special release from the Bruichladdich distillery on the island of Islay. The barley used for this release was grown by James Brown at Octomore Farm, which is strongly influenced by the coastal winds from the Atlantic. After distillation, the whisky is matured for 5 years in first fill American whisky casks from Jim Beam, Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace and Jack Daniel's. Octomore 11.3 is notable for its high peat content of 194 PPM, giving it a rich and complex flavour.

Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Light floral, peat smoke, sweet citrus, honey and vanilla
- Taste: Rich and well-balanced. Light sweetness, honey and fruit syrup, orange blossom, apricot jam and floral notes.
- Finish: Fading floral notes and dry smoke, earthy with hay. Burnt heather, toffee and malt sugar create a long and complex finish.
