DESCRIPTION
Benromach Contrasts Triple Distilled is a limited edition whisky from the historic Scottish distillery. As its name suggests, ‘triple’ denotes the triple distillation process. This process results in a purer spirit, with a richer and more refined flavour profile. Matured in first-fill bourbon casks, this triple distillation delivers a lighter style with subtle, sweet notes of ripe tropical fruit, malted biscuit and vanilla. The finish is banana, green apple and a touch of smoke.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Tropical fruit, malted biscuit, rich vanilla pod and toasted oak.
- Taste: Ripe bananas combined with poached pears, green apples and honeydew.
- Finish: Medium and long with citrus zest and a touch of smoke.
