DESCRIPTION
Benriach Smoky Twelve is an exceptional single malt whisky, combining fruity, malty, oaky and rich layers of smoke. Benriach Smoky Twelve is created from a combination of unpeated and unsmoked spirits, then matured for a minimum of twelve years in three types of casks: bourbon, sherry and Marsala. This maturation process allows each cask to develop its own distinct character before being combined to create a smooth and rich single malt.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Smoked vanilla, orange and toasted almonds
- Taste: Dark chocolate, fruit peel, brown sugar and smoked oak
- Finish: Persistent smoke, combined with cocoa and orange, leaving a long finish
