THE BALVENIE 21 YEAR OLD PORTWOOD

To create The Balvenie PortWood 21 Year Old Single Malt Whisky, a rare Balvenie is transferred into a Port cask, or premium wine cask. Here, the blend is sampled regularly to ensure the right amount of character is imparted to the Port cask, enhancing and developing the single malt while retaining its original character.
Regarded as Master Distiller David C. Stewart MBE’s greatest creation, this Whisky is one of his proudest achievements and has won a host of highly sought-after industry awards since its launch in 1996.
