THE BALVENIE 14 YEAR OLD CARIBBEAN CASK

The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 is matured in traditional oak whisky casks for 14 years and then “finished” on casks that previously held Caribbean Rum.

To create the ideal finish, Master Distiller David C. Stewart MBE filled the blend with selected West Indian Rums into American oak casks. When he judged the casks were ready, the Rum was replaced with 14 year old oak casks, which were added to the blend for the final stage. The result is an exceptional single malt whisky with the traditional Balvenie honey and harmonious character combined with toffee and a touch of fruit, and a warm, lingering finish.

Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Intense, sweet and mild butterscotch flavours combined with fresh fruit.
- Taste: Rounded with vanilla and sweet oak, characteristic fruit flavours gradually increasing.
- Finish: Soft and lingering with vanilla.
