DESCRIPTION
This award-winning Auchentoshan Three Wood single malt Scotch whisky is matured in three different cask types: American Bourbon casks, Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks and finally Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks. This process results in a complex and rich whisky with notes of toffee and sherry.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Black currant, brown sugar, orange, plum and raisin.
- Taste: Fruity and syrupy, with hints of hazelnut, cinnamon and lemon. Butterscotch sweetness adds to the overall complexity.
- Finish: A fresh, fruity, smooth whisky with a lingering oak sweetness.
