DESCRIPTION
Auchentoshan 18 Year Old, first introduced in 2008 and redesigned in 2014, is part of the Lowland distillery Auchentoshan’s innovative range. It is triple distilled and matured for over 18 years in Bourbon casks, with the final stage in new casks, resulting in a refined and refreshing spirit with an infusion of ripe citrus and green tea, with the warmth of toasted almonds and the smooth classic Auchentoshan flavour.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Fresh tobacco leaf aromas, combined with a touch of caramel, green tea and almonds.
Taste: Fresh floral and sweet barley aromas, delicious vanilla and rich hazelnuts
Finish: Balanced, long, malty finish with a touch of custard and fresh floral notes
