DESCRIPTION
Glenlivet Founder's Reserve is a release created to honour George Smith, who founded the Glenlivet distillery in 1824. It uses new American oak casks to deliver a fresh and modern flavour, while retaining the traditional Glenlivet character with smoothness and fresh fruit flavours.
Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Fresh fruit aromas, citrus, green apple and a touch of vanilla from the new oak casks.
- Taste: Light, sweet flavours of toffee, ripe fruit and a touch of smooth vanilla.
- Aftertaste: Smooth and sweet, with lingering fruit and honey flavours.
